Our Mission is to bring women and girls together in an environment that nourishes the academic, as well as the social needs of girls across the District 19 community.
The District 19's Gem Squad, is a collaborative mentorship initiatives across 34 schools that is designed to inspire and foster sisterhood amongst our community of girls.
As a district and school community of mentors, we work together to design and customize in-school mentorship programs and experiences built around our core values
of Confidence, Strength, Beauty, Voice, Respect, honesty and Individuality so that all our girls have the tools needed to reach their full potential and be agents of changes.
MBK Mission is to cultivate a brotherhood in and across our district community that will help engage, empower, elevate, and enlighten our boys and young men of color in order to actively address disparities in the achievement and opportunity gaps of boys and young men of color and ensure their social-emotional and academic success.
